    with the talk around town about pedro astacio, al leiter, and glendon rusch. y not go after sterling hitchcock?? i remember when he faced the 'stros in 98 and i think he struck out 8+ and won against RANDY JOHNSON!! i think we should trade Daryle Ward for him, besides we have top prospect jason lane waiting in the wings, we dont need ward

    I've been wondering that as well. As much as I would like to have Schmidt, it seems that a left-handed starter would be more important at this point.
