    not sure if i spelled that right,but are we allowed to do that every yr? think we can unload howard's contract and whoo a free agent? we should of done moochie's instead of the spoon man

    even it it was every year it wouldn't give us salary cap relief. the amnesty only affected luxury tax payments, you don't have to pay a dollar for dollar match in luxury taxes on that waived contract, but it still counts on the cap. since we won't be paying luxury tax, I doubt Les would waive Howard and pay him big money to play for another team.
