    ok so the 26th pick (instead of the 27th) or guaranteed home court in the finals? idiots.

    The thread title is misleading. Of course homecourt in the final trump the 26th pick. But resting our starters and preventing injury trumps either of these by a lot. It's not as if either JVG or Jerry Sloan cares to show his hand in terms of playoff strategies anyway. I wouldn't even bother having Yao, T-Mac, or Battier make the plane trip to Utah.

    im not so sure having home court in finals would mean that much unless it went to a game 7 (which it could)

    i like the idea of having 3 straight at home, especially if we could split the 1st two on the road.
