2003 #1 draft pick

    I know the Rockets don't have their first round pick this year, but I can't find out if the pick is protected at all. Is it gone unconditionally or is it lottery/#1 overall protected? Sorry if this is common knowledge, but I don't hear a lot of news here in Austin and I can't fine a web site with details. Any info would be appreciated.

    I think it's unprotected so it's gone no matter what, lottery or not.
