He is really good now there is no denying that. But if he doesnt lose weight then his years of greatness will be a decade tops.

I was watching Zion's Duke highlights. This should be his target body for the NBA. He looked way leaner in college compared to now.

Been watching some of Zion's highlights from this season. And it's just so hard to believe he could have a succesful career at this weight. It's an injury waiting to happen.

Just look at how he lands on his left leg after this dunk:

His legs won't be able to hold up this constant pressure from a 300-pound body landing akwardly after high flying dunks.

Even knowing that he doesn't get hurt, I still cringe everytime the clip loops. He's going to get seriously injured. Maybe Jordan could teach him how to land.

Jordan would ask for a 15% stake of his endorsement earnings for the rest of his life in return. Ask Chamillionaire about his encounter with MJ and wanting to take a pic with him.

I've heard stories of how much of a dick Jordan is to people.

I forgot that Zion is Jordan Brand. Zion won't be able to duplicate Jordan's quickness off his landings, but he could at least learn to bend his knees when he lands.

If a dude has big feet wearing size 16+, it's not a problem.

It's either foul him and get sent to bench or let him score.

C'mon man Blake Griffin is taller than Zion, jumps less than Zion and still ended up going from the NBA's golden boy to injury prone has been in 10 years.

This **** has been happening since the start of the NBA. Penny Hardaway, Yao Ming, Amare Stoudamire, Derrick Rose, Grant Hill, Brandon Roy etc the NBA always has guys with superstar talent but got held back from their full potential due to injuries. Let's not pretend Zion will be any different from these guys when unlike them he already showed signs of injuries in the year before the NBA and during his very first season.

Health and resistance to wear and tear are often overlooked but is actually the most important thing in an NBA's player's career and longevity.

This is all great and true, so many players have had their careers destroyed by injury, but this is his first year, dont write him off yet. Remember Curry and his Ankles? Jordan himself, missed almost all of his second season and then never again. Duncan had bad knees from 2004 basically and still played 13 more seasons.
Not everybody has to be Amare or Griffin.

dam breh... that list. would have loved to see penny, grant hill, and brandon roy live up to their potential with a 15+ year nba career. imagine them in today's nba in their prime (which we never got to see). i think roy would have been better than jarmes harlen beard.

Nobody said dunking would be easy.

If it was so easy, anybody could do it!

I mean Shaq had some injuries but he also played alot, so there is the path to follow, Mr. Williamson.

Shaq had a shortened career due to an arthitic toe, he was actually still good enough to have played longer than he did if only he was healthy.

Shaq was 7 foot tall though, Zion's like 6'6. When Shaq lost some lift in his legs he could still dunk it cuz he was so tall when Zion's legs lose lift he is gonna be extremely ineffective unless he learns to shoot by then.

Shaq was damn near 40 when he stopped playing his career wasn’t “shortened”. It was past time for him to hang it up. Stop it.
