Was listening to the PGS podcast friday morning and Lance Z commented that the feedback on Zach C. was that he doesn't love football. TIFWIW.

Also a correction to my earlier post, DeMeco was traded to the Eagles.

I really do think this guy is gonna be our best pick in this years draft. Of course, I want Watson to do well but Im on the fence about him.

Steal of the draft, and finally a true successor to Cushing.

You don't sacrifice your body and make all those tackles if you don't love football. What else was he doing it for? Free education?

money. the pay out is now. Not that I have a problem with that as a motive.

If the payout is now. That is a very low payout. Making the team and getting a 2nd contract is the real payout. Plus that is a long time to be putting your body in so much arm, hoping that he makes the 1% chance of making it in the league.

Like you said, I don't really care what his motive is. But there has to be a certain level of love for football to play the way he has been playing.

He needs to get stronger and learn how to hit lower at the point of attack. A few sessions with Vrabel should cure anything that ails him. Really excited about this pick.

Not commentating on Cunningham because I have no idea, but are you disputing that there have been players who were good in college that didn't love football????

No. Not good. But played the way he played. Dude was sacrificing his body a whole lot trying to make tackles. Dude likes making tackles. There are guys who aren't THAT good but you can tell they really enjoy it. An example is Max Bullough. Dude is not gifted enough but he sure enjoys it.

I have no idea for sure. It just looks that way with him.

Comment could be based on how he practices, preparation, locker room, etc...I have no idea if that's the case but maybe his missed tackles are an indication of this. A lot of guys can show out for games.

Ricky Williams won a Heisman Trophy and in essence walked away from the game.
