    Assumption: Dan Gilbert insists that Rockets need to include both Capela and Gordon. He only asks 2 players. It is not much, right?

    If Chris Paul signed a five year supermax with Clippers, his contract is 201 million.
    If Chris Paul signs a four year max with Rockets in July, his contract is 158 million (25M this year + 158M = 183M
    Chris Paul lost 18 million in 5-year contract (same 5 years)

    LeBron loves City of Cleveland, if he signs a supermax with Cavs, it is a win-win situation for both. This meets his requirement: family first

    The Rockets are 45-4(including the playoffs) when CP3, Harden, and Capela all play together this season. So my answer is HELL NO!!!

    To be honest, if it was either lose Capela/Gordon = LeBron or not signing CP3 = LeBron, I'd rather do the latter. And, I know, LeBron probably won't come here without CP3 also being here, but humor me for second.

    LeBron can easily assume CP3's role of ballhandler when Harden sits, keeping the whole "HoF ballhandler play for 48 minutes" alive and well. While LeBron might not shoot the 3 at the clip CP3 can make them, LeBron's offense is far more versatile. Can play in the post, can cut, can set screens, etc.

    Imagine a LeBron/Harden screen, or a LeBron/Capela screen. That's disgusting.

    My opinion: It is for Playoffs and Championship, not for regular season.

    Yes. When you have the opportunity to acquire a once in a generation type talent you do it. Anyone but Harden and CP3 should and would be on the table during any trade discussions with Cleveland.

    I wouldn’t trade Beverly not that long ago but now I’m contempt

    Everyone loves there role players but if it means a better player you gotta do it if no championship is obtained with Gordon or capela

    Lebron obviously could replace gordon outside of shooting but capela would be a big loss in a league with no centers

    Well..I'm not a big fan of Lebron's diva-like antics. But if all I'm giving up is EG & Capela for Lebron, I'm prolly hopping on that asap. Capela's contribution can be somewhat replaced with the right young asset. Replace EG with Green and we're getting similar production. I like this trade possible

    This is the most important thing for Rockets.

    There is a good chance LeBron will join Rockets. He could force a trade to Rockets in December.

    5-year contract can benefit the team for a long time, more expensive tickets?
