Has to become a good perimeter shooter. In this era, I don't think it's possible to achieve greatness without being a great 3pt shooter.

westbrook/giannis both became mvp's and they're both horrible 3 pt shooters

To some extent I agree. I can't say it's impossible because there's Giannis - but he's more of an exception to the rule, and his game is much more rounded and advanced in other areas. And even the Greek Freak struggled mightily in the playoffs when the coaches game planned against him.

I'd rather have him be 7'2 and be the next Shaq.

I don't see anyone stopping him at the rim. No point of taking 3s if you can get a shot at the rim on every shot.

Yeah but he is gonna have a short career at this rate imagine if Blake Griffin didn't develop a shot he'd be out of the league a few years ago.

If he doesn't develop a J I predict a season ending injury within his first 4 years cuz he will have to spend every possession skying to the hoop.

Lots of people can see this a mile a way he is too short and has to jump really high to do those dunks. The scary thing is he has not even started his rookie year I wonder what's the state of those legs 3-4 years down the line?

It's a shame considering Zion looks like a swell dude but between him, Lonzo, Jaxson Hayes and Brandon Ingram Pelicans look like they have a great young core but most of them have serious injury risks.

Damn, this makes the NBA opening night game, Pels v Raps, a potential snoozer.
