Probably would have been a better fight for Wilder if his inner ear was destroyed early. That will take any size man down. And good for his corner for stopping it before it got worse. Hopefully there’s no permanent damage there. A WvF3 would be epic!
I've busted my eardrums 3 times -- 2 weren't awful but definitely messed with me -- the bad one basically incapacitated me with intense pain and a crazy disoriented feeling.
The bad one a full rupture happened when I jumped off a big cliff and didn't stop my momentum fast enough once I hit the water. I went past one atmosphere of pressure (about 11 feet) under water and I guess my head was plugged because all the fluid in my right ear blew through the eardrum. Everything sounds really weird too like an old speaker with the foam rotted out.
Sort of like the Joshua-Diaz fight. Joshua got busted in the ear and wasn't the same the rest of the fight. Looked very similar to Wilder. Speaking of those two...if only Boxing had any organization, Wilder v Diaz winner gets Fury v Joshua winner...but yeah that won't happen.
Yeah I think Joshua is going to duck Tyson after what he did to Wilder. They just aren’t good enough boxers to have more than a punchers chance if Tyson has good camps and comes in focused.
So Anthony Joshua despite being the worst fighter gets to watch two superior fighters duke it out 3x before he gets his mega fight with the winner? lol Fury needs to let Joshua face Wilder and then Fury faces the winner of that match. Joshua doesn't deserve to automatically face Fury
