    To stop seeing that I uploaded the default avatar image as my avatar. Does that mean I have a custom avatar or no?

    JV, you have a great avatar! Perfect, in fact, considering your moniker. If you hadn't snapped it up, someone else would have eventually and the two of you might have been forced to fight a duel. Keyboards at 10 paces!

    The avatars make it much easier for me to spot a member I enjoy reading (usually, ha ha) when I glance at a page. There once was a day when even the idea of avatars caused the BBS to slow to a crawl. That Clutch has let us have them says more about the fine job he's been doing fueling the power of ClutchFans , than it does about the rest of us.

    Something I just noticed today. A member I won't mention just changed his/her avatar to a political advertisement. Is that allowed? I thought we weren't supposed to have political signatures, and a political avatar is far more noticeable.

    J.R. is not human. He is a robot crawling over the web nonstop to find all Rockets-related info. His avatar fits well with what he is.
