Capela should be gorging on lobs like a fat kid locked in a candy shop overnight

Would still take Noel. Even if he's only in for half the game, he has ZERO motor issues. He's balls to the wall every second he's on the floor.

I think his leg injury last year hurt his mpg number. He was creeping up closer to 30 before it happened.

My questions isn't one of "Would you take player X", my question is one of Max salary, or even $18-20m. Are they providing real, starter minutes at equal production per 100 possessions?

I'm not even asking for speculation. I'm saying they *must* produce at starter minutes at equal per-100 production, if they expect to be paid like a real starter. Until then, they get platoon-player pay.

Max players don't platoon. They simply don't.

Noel significant rise in per 100 numbers at significantly less minutes last year is the Tell I'm talking about. I'm not talking about just the mpg stat. I'm saying many Centers have much different energy levels at real, starter minutes than platoon minutes of half per game.

Why couldn't Noel produce at Capela per-100 numbers (even prior to D'Antoni -- look at 2015-16)? Many think he is better than Capela. Did Noel get 30 mpg artificially at Philly? Capela seems to trounce his per 100 stats. Was Philly showcasing him with 30mpg to beef up his per-game stats?

Then, last year, when Dallas and Philly brought him down to his sweet-spot minutes of 22-ish, he all of a sudden is producing at Capela's efficiency.

Carmelo Anthony for me. He is going to catch so many passes from Harden and Paul. Far more than Capela.

Do you consider Ryno a platoon player?

Not really. But regardless, we're talking max salary. even in a perfect storm, free-agency year of teams over-paying players, Ryno still only signed for 70% of his max, as a 7-9yr player. Conley got the max.

I would cap platoon players like Capela and Noel at 66%. That puts them at $16-17m tops.

tt seems like they get the rebound, push the ball, run horns, and capela goes up the middle, ariza to the corner, and the forward to the elbow. Capela should get lob-o-matic that way. You can't defend both sides. Otherwise one of those two sneaky guards has a layup or at least a pick and roll.

I don't think either Capela or Noel get the max. Ryno money more than likely due the question marks you brought up. If it was a slam dunk, then Noel would have been maxed already, Dallas is going to lowball him for sure.
