Who exactly is on the roster right now? I'm confused.

    Is Vince Edwards signed? Is RJ Hunter still signed to a two-way contract? What about Rob Gray?

    We know these guys are signed:

    1. Chris Paul
    2. James Harden
    3. PJ Tucker
    4. Carmelo Anthony
    5. Clint Capela
    6. Eric Gordon
    7. Gerald Green
    8. James Ennis
    9. Ryan Anderson
    10. Nene Hilario
    11. Michael Carter-Williams
    12. Isaiah Hartenstein
    13. Zhou Qi

    14..... De'Anthony Melton will be signed at some point.



    Gary Clark signed a 2-way contract.

    So that leaves 1 roster spot and 1 two way contract left.

    I believe teams are allowed to sign up to 20 players for training camp. So what about Edwards, Hunter, Gray, etc? Who is signed and who is not signed and to what kind of contracts? How many spots are still open?

    Gotta gove that Tway to Deng Adel. He is special and someone with that talent not being drafted is a God send. Wish morey could realize that soon.

    Clark is signed to an Exhibit 10 just like Vince Edwards. That makes 15 guaranteed contracts apart from Melton. RJ is on a 2 way contract.
    Gray probably is signed to training camp.

    i feel your pain as well. Plus the roster still seams a little unbalanced to me.

    Capela/Nene/Hartenstein/Zhou Qi
    Melo/Anderson
    PJ Tucker/Ennis/Green
    Harden/Gordon/Melton (assuming he signs)
    CP3/MCW
    2-way contracts: Edwards/Clark

    I think we need a versatile, defensive-minded 4 to balance out the roster ...hopefully as part of an Anderson deal!

    An exhibit 10 contract gives flexibility to the Rockets. It's a 1 year guaranteed contract that can be converted into a 2 way contract. That is what Edwards and Clark are on. RJ Hunter is on the 2nd year of his two way contract.
    A versatile, defensive minded 4 is needed and another long wing player. Both are going to be hard to acquire at this time.

    I thought teams could sign 15 players plus two 2-way players for a total of 17. How do exhibit 10 contracts fit in there? Two exhibit 10 contracts would give the Rockets 16 contracts...

    You are correct. Melton would make it 16, unless Edwards and Clark are coverted into 2 way contract players. Then it would become 14. I think Morey will make another move, before the season opener.
