I was upset at everyone's embarrassing performance, but not surprised the scrubs vanished too. Harden choking was like acid sprayed into my eyes. I've never called him a fraud, a quitter, or fool's gold. Even after that cluster****. He's improved every year he's been here and gave the town it's best hope since Dream. We got a legit max star in an off season that began with Jerry Lin as the main attraction.... Not pointing at you, but some people think they're owed everything and expect murry to drop assets at the slightest disappointment. But...but...players should sign for less here to prove they're loyal to the city and the fans!
Well....I guess I dont know the reason he got banned so it is presumptuous to call it idiotic. Apologies to Clutch BUT...if he got banned for that "I'm Sorry" thread or because Tilman or whoever was complaining than yea I think its idiotic.
I don't think the point is that he's signed for the minimum. If he damages the team that won 65 games and made it to the conference finals, people will turn on him no matter how much money he signed for. If it was a struggling team, your point would be more valid.
when they realize we can't beat the Warriors with this lineup. We need another big time wing defender who will show up in the playoffs.
Melo Will have to take on ryan anderson role as a starter/Bencher at times, i think this buries Anderson now with Zhou on the bench, Neither can play defense. The truth is you want to save melo maybe for the bench with gordon. But you need that defense to star out games. You paid tucker good money, so i think its time for him to be the starter at Power Forward. He has to be the guy. Ennis is another guy who should start. Chris Paul, Harden, Ennis, Tucker, Capela Williams, Gordon, Green, Melo, Nene Zhou, Ryan Anderson Hey espn already agrees with me http://www.espn.com/nba/team/depth/_/name/hou/houston-rockets Some nights you can rest Paul and start Melo with Harden. Key is REST PAUL! i say give him maybe up to 25-30 games off against non competive teams. Agree?
If someone is simply not as good as others, but is making an all out effort, I don't turn on them. I only blame the coach for not putting in the guys who can help us the most in any situation. I will turn on the guys at times when they don't put in an effort, play slow and lazy, or ball hog when others are on fire and they aren't. Then again, I blame the coach for leaving them on the court when they do that, regardless of their "stardom".
Play Ryan as a backup 5. He can defend fairly well around the basket, and rebound a bit when he puts his mind to it, I hope he will regain confidence in his outside shot soon. However, if Hartenstein is outplaying him, then he should sit on the bench. Melo can score, which is theory, might decrease the pressure on Ryan to make his shots, provided if our defense stands up to the pressure. There is no need to turn on Melo, if he putting in a good all round effort.
You didn’t know he was a troll That’s more troubling than thinking I had something to do with his demise This was beyond obvious and you might be the only person who couldn’t see it It’s like asking where is the ocean when you are middle of the ocean
i truly believe the true test would only come when we face GS in the playoffs, that's all it matters, if melo messes up at the most crunch time, i don't want him back next season, we can't waste the prime of harden and the last meaningful part of CP3's career
Yet another discouraging thread about Melo, just makes me want to yell "Stop Yo!" Taking a poll on when fans will turn, is like bringing bad karma for him to crash and burn. I want to see more positive vibes here, as we get ready to start our Championship year. We Clutch Fans need to support all our guys, hope for the best, and finally put all the negativity to rest. Go Rockets!!!
