On this week's episode of Scientists Gone Wild... A scientist in a remote outpost in Antarctica plunged a kitchen knife into his colleague because he was fed up with the man telling him the endings of books, say investigators. Sergey Savitsky, 55, and Oleg Beloguzov, 52, were avid readers to pass the lonely hours during four harsh years together. But Savitsky became angry after Beloguzov kept telling him the endings, it is alleged. The victim is now in intensive care after being flown from Russia’s Bellingshausen research station on King George Island to Chile with a knife injury to his heart. Savitsky is back home in St Petersburg under house arrest and has been charged with attempted murder. Every time I see one of these, really I try. And I do get it, I see how they're funny. I just don't know how sober you'd have to be to actually enjoy it. I always bail within 20 seconds and listen to music. Guess the idea is funnier as a concept, than actually listening to it.
