    I suspect that Trump and the Republicans could get behind a $1000 a month deal for the top 1%, you know the “job creators”.

    I think that the dividend coupled with high school financial literacy education would be a resounding success in creating generations of more financially sound Americans.

    You are genuinely wrong about the $1,000 going nowhere - unless you are speaking about the top 20% of earners. The middle class is very fringe and as trashy as it is, consumerism dictates the happiness of most. It will be spent by whites and blacks in the bottom 80%. With hispanics and asians you have the issue of them sending it overseas.
