You know what really grinds my gears? People that are "Player Only" Fans. I mean, all you care about is one player and "To Hell" with everyone else on this team, as long as your player gets theirs. It hit its peak, or was at its worst, with LOFs. Despite the fact that Lin was a flash in the pan in NY, and wasn't the main reason the Rockets got to the playoffs for the 2 seasons he was here, LOFs made constant excuses for his lack of expected production (mainly Harden and McHale). Fast Forward to tonight's game in Boston, a GARM poster was hating hard on how Beasley was having a very productive game, despite the fact we were winning a game with extremely biased officiating (as bad, if not worse, than the OKC game). Why? Because that poster is a D-Mo Only Fan who got upset that D-Mo was not on the court at that time. When it comes to the Rockets, I am not a "Player Only" Fan or Hater; I am simply a Houston Rockets Only Fan. As long as any player is an active Rocket, I will root for them, with no exceptions. Yes, there are some players I wish were off this team (like Jones) and I would like an upgrade at Head Coach (JB), but I want them to do well while they are here because if this team is successful and winning games, we (majority of us here) are happy; if not, then we're not. Sure fans have their favorite players on other teams (I like KD, as an example). When he plays against the Rockets though, main priority is for the Rockets to win that game. Nothing else matters. The problem is when Player Only Fans would rather have the team lose a game as long as their guy puts up fantastic numbers. That pisses me off to the extreme. TL;DR Version: Player Only Fans SUCK and if you are one of them and you don't care about the Rockets at all (as a TEAM) other than that one player, then please: Spoiler So ClutchFans, what really grinds your gears?

Not exactly true, but even if it was, I wouldn't be wrong, because at least every other player on this team is worse than DMo. :grin:
I can boldly proclaim that after being on this forum for a few years and browsing for about 8 or 9, the team fans that complain about player only fans are much more annoying than the player only fans.

In contrast, Team Only Fans can be annoying... such as a random Lakers fan who doesn't know anything about the team, its past glory, and thinks Kobe is still in his prime.
