Hopkins is better than hill or kelce. Mahomes has elite arm talent. Probably on par with Vick or farve.

I think this is overblown. Not in the sense the Texans will win. They won't. They have BillyO.

In the sense that the Chiefs will dominate for 15 years. They were down multiple times, by big scores, etc. Yes, they came back and won... but they still have holes, and Reid, and as much as everyone is all about Reid right now, he still has Reid'itis.

ANY OTHER F'ING COACH IN THE NFL, maybe excepting the worst of the worst (say Freddie Kitchens), takes a 24-0 lead and if not wins the game, certainly doesn't lose 24-0, lol.

Same last night. yes, the Chiefs executed. but the other team lost the game as much as they won it. Shanahan pulled a Shanahan. Which is to say, he did what BillyO did. Once the Chiefs got even the remotes bit hot, he freaked out, got away from his gameplan, and gave the Chiefs the ball back with all of 50 seconds coming off the clock. JimmyG threw the ball 31 times (attempts). vs. the 8 in the NFC championship game. WTF? Why? They were up 20-10.

In any case, this doesn't strike me as the GSW adding Durant.

BUT, relative to the Texans, they are SO SO SO SO SO SO outcoached, it's not even worth discussing.

Switch the coaching staffs, and DW has a superbowl ring right now, no question from me.

The Chiefs are not an Dynasty team. They were down in EVERY play off game by double digits. It took the Niners' mistakes and 3-4th quarter TDs to win the Superbowl. The AFC is wide open going forward.

Nah, they just won the Super Bowl, let's start talking them DOWN for next season. The Texans are RIGHT there in the mix for 2021.

Your RANDOM use of all CAPS is totally unnecessary and should cease, btw.

Mahomes had everything(coach)handed to him on a silver platter. Watson had his handed to him on the lid of a toilet.

Fans do this every single year: they way overreact to the Super Bowl (go back and check out the Joe Flacco/elite threads/posts after he won it; hilarious).

The Chiefs are very good, very dangerous, and likely a playoff contender for the foreseeable future. But their Super Bowl likely rests on Miami beating New England in the final game of the regular season. If that doesn't happen, Kansas City is hosting Tennessee in the wild card round, then likely at New England, at Baltimore - a much tougher road.

That was a lucky break at the end for KC. Next year, they may not be as lucky.

Fans don't like to talk about luck because it can invalidate success - but it is such a vitally important part of any championship.

Aaron Rodgers with his electrifying arm was supposed to win more than 4 superbowls after winning that first one in 2010. That didn't quite happen. You just never know in the NFL. Kansas City, Missouri has a powerhouse though. It was nice seeing Coach Reid finally win one.

    Regardless, pray for Deshaun.

Hopefully, he'll realize that O'B is his biggest roadblock to success.

That means he will probably have to leave Houston because OB has Cals nuts.

Mahomes makes much faster decisions and rarely gets sacked for holding the ball too long.

And his arm is way stronger for the short tight window passes.

Nothing wrong with Watson, but he is not as good as Mahomes right now.....say one is a 10/10 player Deshawn is an 8....still good.

Yup. Watson is a top 5-10 pro bowl level qb. Mahomes is on a “one of the all time greats” trajectory.

    Regular season: 71TDs, 29 INTs....Watson, 76TDs, 18 INTs...Mahomes.
    Playoffs: 4TDs, 1INT......13 TDs, 2 INTs.

Not much difference in the Regular season. Of course, Watson has more RUSHING TDs: 14 vs 4.....

Mahomes has a better offensive coach/system, better O-Line, and more weapons.

You do realize Watson is on a HOF trajectory after his first 3 seasons?

Our Coach plays checkers, while Mahomes coach plays chess. The coaching shows.
