Jr Smith, Dellavadova would be a buyout candidate.

Dude ik this guy probably isnt legit but when James harden said he knew exactly what needs to be done this cant be it. We have a mid level and let players sign with other teams like we were waiting on kawhi. We only have 1 allstar and another is available and we stand pat. The rockets are not acting like a team that feels like they can win it all by sitting there while other teams get better. I'm tired of refreshing br and cf. Morey and the front office are overrated

Didn't Jimmy Butler want his own team when he chose Miami? No way that would be the case with Westbrook as a teammate.

Miami wants Westbrook? Well, I guess Pat Riley IS in his 70s by now...you have to expect some mental deterioration at that point.

Because our off-season has been boring AF and sometimes fake news is better than no news in sports.

I dont mean to call you out personally, truly I dont. It's nothing in purpose just gonna use this as an example.

    .
    .
    .

Everyone on CF has built up their own disappointment. They keep feeding themselves negative confirmation. They keep blindly looking for reasons to be upset.

Just these bolded lines, you are acknowledging this source is useless, but throwing it all into the wind because you "want" to be angry.

Everyone is upset for coming up just short the past 2 seasons. So I u understand wanted to do something and being concerned about other teams improving.

But my God man, this feeling is self manifested.

These thoughts you just expressed in one paragraph describes almost half the boards psychy. They just "want", "need", something to happen in order to feel a bit of gratification.

If I asked anyone at the deadline last year, do you want Westbrook? It would be 90% no. Now, everyone is just like "oh come on! Do something, get him!".

Same with love last year, everyone would be like an even more expensive dyno and a worse contract but now it's like "oh come on! Do something, get him!"

Everyone got hyped up about butler, EVEN THOOO, everyone knew it was an extreme long shot. But instead of keeping that foresight they become blinded by the failure and a couple dumb quotes.

"Team a just got player b, wtf morey!"
"Player x just signed for cheap on team z. No one likes us!"
"We havent used the mle! Tilman is a cheap bum!"
"Hypothetically, we let house walk because we didnt use part of the mle! Morey is a bum!"

When you are "f5ing" and refreshing all day every day, Expecting Something, and nothing happens it's going to lead to disappointment and resentment.

I f5 and refresh all day. I felt confident about butler but knew it was a long shot. I didnt let my desire cloud my thinking, after the fact.

We as a community, need to get back to this sites high standards of dialogue. We need to veer away from this silly Instagram, Twitter, reddit style shiit posting, trolling and just crap ass thread discussions.

If anyone has got this far, it's because your likely one of the better posters. If your looking for better dialogue, try and be the change. And if your more like me and just wanna read, r/nbadiscussion is a pretty good alternative for more insightful dialogue.

    THIS ^^^^^^^^

Technological evolution in some ways equals societal devolution. Let's try to turn back the clock a bit and have the best of both worlds.
