I have an opposite view. I would sign him IF I already had a franchise guy, but would not if I had no star. These days you need TWO max players just to compete. Paul George is no top tier star. If he is your #1, you are going nowhere. But he is definitely good enough to be the #2 guy on a championship team. If OKC's star wasn't as dumb and self-absorbed as Westbrook, they could be a contending team.
This... as a #2 he’s still very good plus one of the best wing defenders in the league. I just don’t want him as my #1
Btw he’d be RIDICULOUS on our squad. Imagine him getting all the shots Trev does, plus being able to put the ball on the floor and guard the opposing teams best player during crunch time
What's the biggest difference between Kawhi Leonard and Paul George? I feel like their offenses are similar, and that Leonard's defense is better than PG's defense, but not by a ridiculous amount. Yet Leonard is top 5 / a #1 option, but everyone is crapping on George.
Beer and Thunder Schadenfreude is how I'm gonna try to forget Rockets terrible loss tonight. Who's with me?
I don't even want to watch basketball anymore.. I need a nice Romantic Comedy to lift my spirits or something.
lol, I’m not gonna lie, I was about to make a comment comparing Utah’s crowd to ours but decided to chill but now that’s it been said, yeah, TC sounds like the local library in comparison and noise levels will never reach these heights for our Rockets
Perhaps another Westbrickathon or ChokeMELO in the 4th quarter could lift our spirits just slightly. But yeah I'm with ya bro. Rockets loss is FRUSTRATING.
westbrook has 3 turnovers in 20 straight playoff games and that's an nba record. i mean i know harden is no stranger to playoff turnovers, but that is a crazy stat. he's only played 8 since durant so that means that's 12 durant games in there so that's pretty incredible, even if all 12 were against the 73 win warriors and 67 win spurs. that dude pads ALL the stats.
