Does the Wall injury affect the availability of Porter, Beal or any other desirable veteran piece from the Wiz?

My uneducated guess is probably to our favor if we are willing to give up pick(s).

I sure hope so. If they weren’t thinking of blowing it up before, I’m sure they will be now. Maybe we can nab Morris, not sure about Porter or Beal.

Can't predict what a super dumb organization will do, they should take this chance to rebuild but wouldn't be shocked to see them keep everyone around...one thing is for sure, they won't stay over the tax to tank so, if they give up on the season i think they'll definitely trade some players.

Nobody cares about the Wall in Washington DC. We only care about the Wall at the Mexican border. :p

Nah, they'll just sell Wall to those Trump supporters raising money on GoFundMe.

Rockets should try to get Dedmon. He can definitely help with our rebounding issue and defense inside. Also if we can land Wayne Ellington from Miami, he can be a great scorer off the bench.

Beal would be awesome but I don't know if they will trade him. Porter is overpaid for what he brings. We are already 10 million over luxury tax line. Don't think we will commit to a huge salary like Porter's. We do have Brandon Knight and Gordon that we can trade though. I definitely think we will make couple of trades before the Feb deadline

Daedmon would be so awesome for the Rockets. I have no idea why they haven't expressed any interest in him.

Markieff won’t be easy to get.
Washington are definitely not taking B Knight
Melo + Criss + MCW is not enough salary to get Markieff (Even adding Hartenstein isn’t enough)

We would've to trade Nene and Chriss to get Markieff, which would make sense since he would probably play backup center here, but personally, while i think he would fit here, by getting him we would get even smaller and weaker in the paint so, if/when Capela would get outpowered or in foul trouble, we would've no other big man on the roster to battle against guys like Adams, Cousins, Gasol, Gobert etc...all things considered, i don't really see him as a necessary addition tbh. If not a third star, a SF for the starting 5 is what we need, and if we can get that and maybe another big for insurrance, i think we'll be fine. I guess it's not going to happen cause Atlanta might not lower his requests but, Bazemore and Dedmon for Knight, Chriss, Melo (to a third team) would be exactly what we need.
