    Where the **** is Boston coming from?? If he's jumping ship, and it's not to the Lakers, why would he choose Boston instead of the Banana Boat? Using that logic, they might as well have Golden State ahead of us too.

    Bright future, great pedigree, team has high picks / is stockpiling picks, great city, great coach, great clam chowdahhhh and a team STILL in the East.

    If you're LeBron, what's not to love about the situation?

    fwiw: this is not "Vegas Odds" but "Canada Odds"

    so, Fake News???

    If anyone is curious who puts out these odds or other stuff like the Melo Trades odds...it's not Vegas. I actually wanted to bet on the Melo trade, so did some research then.

    For this: the odds are from Bovada Online gambling site with servers in Canada and a gambling license from an Indian Reservation in Canada...but I read that their gambling license was recently revoked, so not sure now. Might be out of Antigua now.

    Outside of the draft picks, you can say the same things about Golden State. My point is, given all that we know about the Banana Boat Brothers wanting to play together, why would Boston be AHEAD of Houston?? I'm not arguing that Boston isn't attractive......but his priorities are different.

    In my humbled opinion, we should be #1 and the odds should be heavily in our favor... but whatever, thanks Vegas for the free $$$

    West is stacked, though. And I'm sure GSW would have to trade away Thompson or Green to make room for LeBron. I mean, a team of Curry / KD / Bron (lmao) would be ridiculous in its own right, but it might mess with the chemistry.

    It's an easier path to the Finals through the East, is all I'm saying. But you're right, there's no reason to believe that Boston should be ahead of Houston, at this point.

    Strong front office that isn't going to give into your demands;
    Strong coach that you have no control over or influence over;
    Lack of an existing franchise player;
    Best player on Celtics plays a similar role/style as LeBron;
    Lots of young players that may not be ready for several years;
    A town that is known as a haven for racism and scape goating

    I don't really see how it is a good fit.... and there is no way that Danny "Assets" Ainge trades away his young players so LeBron can come in and dictate who the Celtics sign and trade for.

    The Celtics are not turning over the keys to their franchise to LeBron and Maverick.

    All valid point, but your team is getting the best player in the game. Even if LeBron would be at age 33-34 when he would theoretically sign with the Celtics, who's to say LeBron won't soften his stance on...everything?

    If the front office and coach are solid, there's no reason for LeBron to change anything. Despite Ainge being stingy about hoarding his picks, Ainge hasn't made any terrible, boneheaded decisions yet. Hayward / Morris / Crowder can all alternate between the SG/SF/PF positions, so that shouldn't be a problem. IT2/Hayward/Horford are all good players, so LeBron doesn't need to bring in a Love, per se.

    Amount of rookies might be a problem, but Tatum might develop in just this first season. The overall town might be a problem, but no city is perfect.

    Honestly, the pieces to compete are there (especially if LeBron is in play), but it's going to take a lot of interest from both sides to get LeBron to come to Boston.

    Unless lakers getting more stars, I don't see why he would want to waste the last years with a bunch of youngins. Getting George isn't enough, if they getting WB and George maybe but that doesn't sound like parts that fit

    It wouldn't surprise me if lebron goes to the Lakers if Paul George and Westbrook go too.
