So if you saw Transformers, you saw the trailer for this movie, which supposedly a monster movie shot blair witch style, ie through handheld camcorders.

Well, it figures that the producer of Lost would have a viral marketing campaign for this puppy.

This just shows you two pics that look like stills from a camcorder, I assume more pics will keep showing up on there as at first there was only one.

Then I found out about this site:

You have to solve puzzles to unlock some video clips. There are walkthroughs online if you don't want to bother doing them yourself. I'm still working on the 4th one.

    Then there's this site:

Then on aintitcoolnews somebody sent in this email:

So if this movie is going to be based on the writings of Lovecraft, that means we could be seeing Cthulhu and other monsters romping through NYC.

he is doing that too ($), but this is his pet project.

Some people figured out that it is based on Lovecraft, since most of that stuff is in the public domain.

Abdul Alhazred and the 'Old Ones' are indeed from H.P. Lovecraft; more specifically, The Necronomicon. I haven't read that sh*t in years....around the last time I read the Satanic Bible.

Freaky stuff. Great subject matter for a movie, if done right.
