I completely agree that there is a crucial logivsl distinction between the regular season not MEANING anything
if yankees had verlander then he would be no 1 in their rotation right now. I do truly believe that. Seems to be the general mainstream consensus that our 2 aces are better than their top 2.

Their starting depth and that bullpen doe....

    Aint no joke

There only real advantage in the playoffs offensively is hitting from the catching position. Sure Judge is a star player but after the abysmal playoffs he has had against good pitching and the professional that is Reddick, one could argue the Astros hold the advantage in 8 of 9 positions. Wow.

The Yankees feasted on bad pitching this year in their games. The Astros feasted on all pitching this year. I think this series is a mismatch if they can get out ahead early like they did every game against Boston.

There’s a lot of talk about the Yankees awesome bullpen.

I want to remind you guys that the Red Sox had just as lethal of a bullpen with: David Price, Joe Kelly, Addison Reed, and Craig Kimbrel.

Additionally, the Astros have performed well against faster pitching. That’s what the Yankees are loaded up on, especially in the pen. The Astros have had success against their pitchers.

And no matter what, it’s better than facing Miller/Allen who the Astros seemingly just cannot hit at all.

I like how they systematically go down the roster, and give the Astros the edge in almost every category (Intangibles?? Give me a ****ing break. This Astros team might be the closest knit group of guys in sports HISTORY. Come at me.) , but then when it comes down to the prediction, they pick Yankees in 6. FOH.

Does anyone know where/how I can get 3 tickets to Game 1 for ~$100 each? I know I waited too long but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. Was thinking about trying to get scalped tickets or Craigslist, but that's kind of shady.

I want to find the Morton quote, but I believe he said something along the lines that he doesnt want to play baseball after the contract because he knows it will never be more fun than it is with this team. Correa made a comment as well how it was the most fun he has had playing ball in his life.

Those 4 combined for a 2.04 ERA in the series. The damage was done to the starters (11.90 ERA). Sale is obviously better than any Yankee pitcher - but collectively, the Yankees' top 3 is better than Boston's top 3.
