If there is a game 7 that means that Dallas or JV also screwed up

Things that need to change next game:
    -No Maybin
    -Gattis can't play catcher
    -Order should be:
    1. Springer
    2. Reddick
    3. Altuve
    4. Correa
    5. Gattis (DH)
    6. Gurriel
    7. Marwin
    8. Bregman
    9. McCann
-Astros need some early baserunners. Springer and Reddick have to do better to get on base.
-Lower order has to give some semblance of production. Marwin/McCann and to a lesser extent Bregman can't lay goose eggs

At this point I don't really know what to think. I think this Astros team is special. But we are up 2-1 despite the pinstripe turds scoring twice as many runs as us. We held serve on our home field. But our offense is anemic. I am concerned because all season we said good pitching will trump good hitting. Fortunately we addressed that with JV. BUT, is New York pitching lights out? Did Tanaka, Severino and chunkers just pitch lights out? Or are the Astros pressing at the plate and just swinging at everything.

I really have no clue what to expect tomorrow. I am cautiously optimistic. I would like to think we can beat Sonny Gray around. But we also thought we would beat CC around too. I REALLY hope we take tomorrow's game. We do that then all we need is one and we have both Keuchal and JV to make it happen. Hell prior to tonight's game we just needed to go 6-6 for the pennant. Now we need to go 6-5. That is not that much to ask is it?

Sabathia is no joke at Yankee Stadium. Let's not get it twisted, though. The Astros are a badass team and will the series in 6 games.

Hopefully, it's just Lance for a few innings, because I'm not confident in 2nd half LMC.

Okay, only Correa, Altuve, and Yuli -- that leaves 6 other hitters.

Jose has shown zero power since Game 1 vs BOS -- literally, all singles.

if we win the series, it'll be time for me to relearn the rules of baseball again and rejump on the bandwagon. much like during the triple b's era when alfred pujols kicked brad lidge's ass.

Had higher hopes for offense against CC and Morton let some weak contact get to him before allowing some harder contact/walks.

    Astros in 5.

JV doesn't pitch again until Game 1 World Series.

NO!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S ALL OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BURN IT ALL DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, though, that was just a bad game and nothing else Morton could've gotten out of that inning had he gotten the 3rd strike call that couldn't have been a better pitch. The swinging bunts were no help either. It was just a bad game. I feel very confident that we will win 2 of the next 4...especially when 2 of those will have Keuchel and Verlander.

I think Hinch is gonna take his chances knowing he’s going back home even if they lose all 3 games in NY. I think he feels confident that if he has the last two games at home his chances are good with Keuchel and Verlander on the mound.

Really disappointed by the offense yesterday, but it's a funk, it happens. Offense obviously needs to get going, but we still have at least 3 games for that to happen, and 2 off them will be started by out aces. If I told you Springer, Bregman, Reddick, Yuli, Marwin, Gattis, McCann and Beltran would collectively have 5 hits through 3 games, you would be damn stoked to be up 2-1.

Always figured we would drop at least one in NY, hopefully that was it. Even if we lose today we're still in a good spot, although a W would obviously put us in a much better spot. There isn't a reason to be concerned at the moment, still feel good about our situation.
