Love it. You can tell he was extremely focused. He made some weird decisions offensively in the beginning but he stayed aggressive and focused. He was great to watch. Scary to think he can have the year he had and still be taking it to another level. His defense was outstanding.

His defense was amazing. You could see he was focused all game. He never smiled or did his cheesy grins to the crowd. It was a grown mans game

So you're telling me that we just secured an extra second round pick in trade Harden negotiations?

Can I post my trade ideas right before game five ends?

How he shut Stephanie down was a thing of beauty. Granted curry is a choker in the 4th quarters

I wonder, why didn't the source go on the record? They were speaking highly of Harden.

It's better if it's anonymous because then it's the whole team who said it, and not just one guy. I like it.

Nice read. And I like it that we don't have so many days between games. We can just focus on playing.

They gotta do it two more times ....

I've said this before - The Rockets Have the better defense .... that's how they win this series.

GSW has a more "stars" but only one of them can score at a time .... make it as tough as possible on them , don't let them get in transition and execute an efficient offence and you can beat them.

    Defend - Rebound - WIN.

Seems like we will accomplish something great and then have a bit of a let down... Beat Utah and then come out flat in Game 1... win a crucial game 2 and then come out flat in game 3.... I'm hoping they don't do that sh*t again after winning a crucial game 4.

Agreed, especially after that dunk on Draymond. How do you not get up in that dude's face and let him have it? Amazing poise by Harden to keep his head on all game. Also good to see Paul get going as he started off very poorly and got into a rhythm. I really think Looney guarding Paul or Harden is not the switch we want. We did get him in early foul trouble but he is a pretty solid defender with good length. Doesn't seem to work as often as it should.

us old-timers here can attest to this excerpt: He realizes that this is an unbelievable opportunity that we cannot let pass us

who knows what will happen next season. players get hurt, players leave, other teams improve, the league promotes what gives them the best financial return. we just have to win 2 games at home now and the trophy is ours. may not get this opportunity again for decades. our guys have to fight like never before

The defensive criticism has always been stupid because it revolves around LeBron winning his first title against OKC.

Harden got abused by one of the greatest ever. Nothing to be ashamed about and definitely nothing to hold against him.

If they go on to seal a championship, it will be a defining game

They showed a graphic after the game last night that said the rockets got 1.7 ppp when Looney was the primary defender. For anyone who isn't too familiar with ppp, to put that number into context, that kind of efficiency would get you roughly 165 points per game.

Oh wow, it doesn't seem like that at all. Seems Gordon takes him off the dribble well because he doesn't wait for Looney to get into position. Was that just this game or the whole series?
