Good series. I could see Chang turning people off but I don’t mind him. Vietnamese style crawfish has ruined me for the traditional. It’s not even close. 88 boiling for the win. Snow crab with the lemon garlic is about as good as it gets.
I loved it when Chang ordered Domino's to Lucali and made the owner eat some. His statement of "I hate when snobs tell me I'm not allowed to enjoy something and I love Dominos" was spot on.
I'll eat Dominos when I'm hungry.........same thing with chicken mcnuggets (something Chang admitted as a guilty pleasure), but I have to be pretty desperate.
No it doesn't. And now that we have Uber Eats, there's no reason to ever order from one of these chains ever again. It's time to grow up, fam.
Great episode much better than the bourdain episode. Chang is ok he comes off like he’s trying a little too hard but not bad.
"I don't really like tacos." "I'm not a fan of American breakfast." Yeah, I'm not really interested in anything David Chan has to say on the subject of food. He's by far the worst part of what otherwise is an AWESOME show. Saw pizza, tacos and crawfish eps and then went out of town for two weeks...looking forward to the rest.
Not really. It gets a lot of media attention as the best food in America. No other city has more restaurants per capita and no other city has a more diverse food scene. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/10/travel/houston-restaurants-where-to-eat.html
