i see so many ads for tshirts They are over 30 dollars That seems high to me Do you pay that for just a printed shirt??? Rocket River
Did you ever own a Calvin Klein t shirt? I mean, they were $20 like 20 years ago. That was high and they sold like wildfire. Inflation has brought them to $30 now. I wouldnt pay that much for a t shirt, but to each their own. My post could probably go in the "When did you realize you were old" thread as well.
Target has decent plain color t's for $10, sometimes less if there is a sale. I have plenty of those but also several Tommy Bahama and Burberry shirts, and they're not cheap.
My girls recently discovered "Oregon Trail" and can't get enough of it. I bought them each a "You Have Died of Dysentery" t-shirt of that site. They love 'em!
No, $30 is insane... With that said.... I have done it at a few concerts... Stupid tour shirts are outrageous though $40-50 is the average now. For a shirt that's under $10 at most stores.... But, since the proceeds go to an artist I like I've done it.. But if they go above the current average there's no way in hell. Also a CK shirt for $20, no, on sale for $10 maybe ... If I'm going to be spending above price it'll need to be a Polo or something I can wear, most of my t-shirts turn into car work shirts so... The cheaper the better.
Remember back in the 80's when you could get a concert ticket for $15 bucks and then a shirt at the concert for $15? Those were the days. I've wasted so much on concert T's over the years. Now days they're like 35-50 bucks but since i figure a good portion of that goes to the artist I'll still buy them more often than not.
I might have an addiction to vintage tees. I go to junkfoodclothing when they have their 30% off clearance sale and load up. It comes out to $10 per shirt. A&E mostly for acne teens but they have a "Tailgate" collection that caters to sports fans, they have good sales on that section of AE. Luckybrand.com has the best concert tees, they'll have clearance sales $8 for a shirt.
I was just talking about this to somebody yesterday. They sent a link to a "funny t-shirt" that was selling for $25. I'm thinking that it looks like a Hanes tee that you can see through except it has a picture or witty saying on it. Wth. I'd rather just buy a pack of wholesale Gildan tees for about $1-$2 apiece. lol. BTW, nice link droxford. Hopefully these arent the kind that are thinner than tissue paper. lol. At $6, it may not matter.
A friend has been doing his own custom Tees. and keeps hitting me up and spamming with the site. I decided to go and check it out The shirts ranged from like 28~38 dollars I thought it a little high Rocket River
This is exactly what I meant and what I do too... especially if it's an artist I like since I know the money will get back to them. But yes, I miss the days things didn't cost crazy high too
Depends on if I love it or not. $30 is the upper limit though. Think about what under armour tees cost.
I really don't know. . . . I am curious as well cause these are not well know drawings/person or anything Rocket River
