    This guy is such a horrible dude he almost assuredly would have killed himself as they closed in.

    I believe when Obama announced the killing of OBL...he said "We got him!".

    It would be hilarious if Trump did that walk to the podium to speak about the operation on the ISIS leader and then say "I got him!".

    It wouldn't shock me one bit. It's funny how we get leaked news on the operation but they are holding out on what happened just so Trump can apparently capture the glory of the moment.

    This is good news and Trump deserves some credit for ordering the mission to take him down. Hopefully, he doesn’t do something stupid like say that “ISIS has been defeated” or not mentioning the brave military members that carried out the mission, but at least he was able to get this guy.

    Obama had to actively green-light the mission for OBL because it took place in another sovereign country. He would not have had to approve such a mission if it took place in an active combat zone, under the standing rules of engagement, that would have just been business as usual for the forces in place and the men in charge. See: Saddam

    Lots of speculation right now but the best I can tell they assume he is dead and he killed himself with a suicide vest. This is the like the 5th time they’ve thought they killed him, so who knows. Hopefully he really is gone.
