I guess time will tell if the wall gets built using the military allocations of the utterly ridiculous spending bill just passed. At least if it does happen it may justify some of the God awful BS that was allowed to be included in this bill. Personally I am betting on Trump making this happen. He has kept MANY campaign promises(more than any President in recent memory) and I suspect this one is no different. It shouldn't be a big surprise if this happens. Everyone continues to focus on what he says instead of what he does all the while he is playing chess against the opposition playing checkers. Please pay no attention to this post and go back to focusing on Russia and getting outraged over Trumps tweets and comments again and oh yea STORMY!!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!!
I agree that the effort Trump has put in to fulfilling this campaign promise is admirable. Just like his balls to the wall approach to tearing up NAFTA, exiting TPP, rolling back regulation, etc. The unfortunate part is that his campaign promises were the height of foolishness and I had hoped that he, like other presidents before him, would bend to the good advice of government professionals (aka the Deep State) and sacrifice those promises at the altar of good governance.
This. Trump talked up the ills of the Rust Belt and Industrial NE, but those ills don’t affect the entire country.
