Was thinking they would try to package him off season since of his contract. Maybe they are hoping another team signs him?

Our roster balance really does look pretty strange if you just go off of prototypical skill/height expectations by position.

    C: 6
    PF: 1
    SF: 4
    SG: 2
    PG: 2

Gerald Green is a wayyyyy better Troy Williams with an even quicker trigger and %age. WTH are yall complaining about? Not cutting Nanu is interesting though. I wonder what Murrey has in store or sees in him?

Is that means we are going to sign another waived player with waiving Tarik? lol

Whoever we cut had no real impact on our actual on court results.

But I'm pretty shocked we cut a guy we owe money next season. In a way this is a good sign, I don't think Fertita is too concerned with a few extra million here or there.

Nanu is trash. The guy wasn’t even projected to be drafted.

At least we still have our quota of 74 wings.

Makes complete sense. With GG, he's irrelevant.

NO!!! Bigs are hard to find gems and if Moreknee sees potential in him than hes the better keep. Wings that can shoot are way easier to find daily.

Troy wasn't owed a lot of money for next season but its still surprising too see him gone first. Guessing the injury may have had played a part in the decision. Personally I wasnt as enamored with Troy as others here, I felt whenever he got into the game he was a black hole (even during summer league when he was playing meaningful minutes he took a lot of bad shots). I guess cutting him earlier than later allows him a chance to sign with a different team earlier. We have plenty of wing players right now Ariza, LRMAM, Green, JJ, Tucker that he wouldn't have realistically seen minutes anyway.

Black still being on the roster though, thats puzzling because well he isnt owed money next season. Is there going to be another buyout move coming?

Did not know about his contract. What’s the reasoning over cutting Nanu? Morey afraid to admit he’s a failure?

Loved his athleticism and despised his BBIQ.

He's needs floor time to develop and was never going to get that here. Onaku should be waived too if another solid vet becomes available.
