The acquaintance is my friend's new BF. I've only met him once. But my friend loves him and was about to move in with him.

We three and his best bud where scheduled to camp for three days at Phish/Denver on Labor Day.

I'm not first tier friend in this situation, so haven't talked to her yet. I was told last night from her best friend, so we talked.

I just want to know something from anyone else. This is the third person I've known who died in their 30s suddenly in their sleep convulsing and foaming at the mouth as their GF frantically calls 911 and attempts CPR. This is the third time. Each time the doctors say it was a bacterial infection of the heart lining...and each time they say it is very rare.

wtf: we are at three now.

    Someone is poisoning them.

Either you're next or you're the killer.

sounds like an X-file. would have been weirder if 19 year old chicks you know were dying from bacterial diseases.

In all seriousness, foaming at the mouth at death can be caused by more than just bacterial infections of the heart lining. Overdoes and poisonings of course cannot be ruled out but it could be kidney or liver failure, a stroke, heart attack, etc. When most people die they foam at the mouth (a little).

The first two friends we got info from emergency room doctors, and in one case, an ICU doctor who we talked to for several days (because family kept him on life support), both gave the same diagnosis. It was an bacterial infection of the heart lining.

However, this recent one, I don't have the same info...only the description of the event. This isn't overdose.

The doctor did say..."We are trying our best, but his heart is completely dry." wtf does that mean.

Weird, a woman who is a friend of my wife's and who actually lived with us for a while had a child with a man who died in his sleep a couple days ago. I wonder if it is the same guy or just a coincidence.

If you're going to die, I guess in your sleep is the best way to go. Like one long, forever lasting dream.
