    And before you begin with the whole thing again.

    Tmac's highest salary one year was 20 million which is nothing in today's NBA for a regular NBA star.

    Regular big men make more than him.

    When he played his best in 04-05, and when he was relatively healthy in 07....... he made 16 (2005) and 19 (2007) million which is what a Tobias Harris in today's NBA would make.

    Tobias Harris? Or Draymond Green who can't lead a team by himself.

    Just to put it in perspective what players make during history.

    The price for swing man role players did not go up that fast. The MLE is still the MLE.

    What percentage of the cap was tmacs salary 20m in 2008?

    Never compare old salaries to new salaries. Just remember that we overpaid a young Ariza for 6m/year in 2009 and we got a bargain for that same Ariza (just 5 yrs older) for 8m/yr in 2014.

    Tracy was dealt a hard hand, sure, but to go 0-8 in the first round as a star player - one being up 3-1 - is on him more so than anyone else.
