Latinos in Nevada and Florida are voting in Record numbers. Florida early voting has Latinos voting up 129-150%. Nevada early voting has Democrats already out paced the margins Obama had when he won in 2012 by 7 points. The chickens may be coming home to roost for Drumpf. He thought the wall and mass deportations would win him the election. Well, it will probably the reason he loses Nevada and Florida....2 states he HAS to win

If they wanted to strike back against Republicans then they would sit on their unemployed assess while collecting welfare checks.

Cubans are the only latinos that generally vote Republican so that's just par for the course. Typically whenever the Republicans throw out a latino candidate it's a Cuban and the rest of the latino community just smirks and rolls its eyes.

I think your fears are unfounded ATW.

A surge in Latino votes could spell long-term term trouble for Republicans for years to come.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. ― If the Republican Party’s challenge in winning the White House could be boiled down to a single image, it might be the 2-foot-by-3-foot sign in front of a polling place in this Central Florida city.

“VOTACION ADELANTADA,” it reads, and underneath: “24 de Octubre de 2016 – 6 de Noviembre de 2016.”

It’s not the Spanish wording per se ― there is an English version, too. What should be alarming for Republicans is the sign’s location: Not Miami, or even Tampa, but Osceola County, which until not long ago was home primarily to cattle ranchers ― and voted like it.

Today, the county is majority Latino, thanks in part to large numbers of Puerto Rican migrants moving to Central Florida. Unlike Hispanic immigrants, Puerto Ricans are already U.S. citizens, and can register to vote the day they step off the plane.

And this election, perhaps because of Republican nominee Donald Trump, they seem to be doing precisely that. Of the early votes cast by Friday, close to one-third of the Hispanic voters had never voted in an election before. And polling makes clear that they are overwhelmingly voting for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

“That, my friends, is the definition of a surge,” said Steve Schale, the Democratic strategist who helped win the state twice for President Barack Obama and has been closely analyzing the early voting numbers in Florida for two weeks.

Not to ruin your parade, but Trump has a small edge in Florida. Republicans outperform Dems on Nov 8th. Per the Trend Trump should take Florida easily.

You delusional. With that type of surge, Trump doesnt have an edge. The problem with polls, they always undercount minorities.

Having family from Florida. I know Cuban minorities are typically conservative voters. They are a large portion of that minority boost. That must be getting lost in transition.

Independents favor trump, democrat Bernie supporters aka millenials won't come to the polls either. You are delusional sir.

Based off the most recent elections Florida will be red on Tuesday.

I think Hillary will still win but those Coney bombshell probably cost her a Senate seat or two.

A majority means less hurdles for confirmations that already looks like a Republican refusal to"hear the will of the people"

The percentage of Cubans voting for Republicans have been shrinking for years. Yes its still a Conservative leaning group but its not Republican bloc that it used to be. Cubans born in the US today don't relate quite as well to the politics of the Cuban embargo as the Cubans that left after the revolution. The same goes for Vietnamese Americans. There's a divide between Vietnamese refugees (who generally voted for Republicans) and Vietnamese Americans born here. Both are still willing to vote Republican (especially Cubans) but the numbers are drifting away from the dominance that Republicans previously held. A majority of Vietnamese Americans voted Democratic for the first time in 2012. And if you look back even further, Chinese Americans were previously a Republican aligned bloc that now votes Democratic pretty consistently even though as a group they're ripe to vote for a center-right party. (take a look at local elections in Hawaii where Chinese Americans vote Republican while Hawaiians and Japanese Americans vote for Democrats)

Republicans have taken its minority blocs for granted and at some point you can't rely on the same set of arguments to win those groups. The Vietnam War, the Cuban Revolution and old school Chinese communism have been gone for a while. And the ability to win voters by calling back to those things starts to fail as time passes.
