I'd rather live in Alaska than Oklahoma. Atleast they have mountains and beautiful scenery.

So when theres a huge turn out for the CP3/Melo introduction at 2:00 in Houston, can we say that theres nothing to do in Houston as well. I agree with the sentiment of there being nothing in ok but to blame a fan turn out for it, is shooting ourselves in the foot a little.

They deserve it when he leaves. They just had to make an offer. I am sure ego was on the table and the best offer they had.

He's not a stats guy but he wanted to play with Westbrick who was the worst stats hog in the league. Mmmkay.

Also that last line sounds more like a threat to me, like if they don't make conference finals or upset GSW (both unlikely as honestly I would put Spurs and Minny over them not to mention Rox) he gone. Maybe he even takes Westbrick with him. If he really only cared about winning he wouldn't have left Indiana, the only reason Bird went into full tank mode in Indiana was because he wanted out. They could have easily rebuilt a WCF team around him they had tons of capspace. Also, Paul George makes me appreciate Harden even more, dude has loyalty I'll give him that. Not even Lebron signed a 6 year deal with his hometown Cavs.

    2018 Statement:
"I grew up a Lakers fan. I idolized Kobe [Bryant]. There will always be a tie here, a connection here. People saying I want to come here, who doesn't want to play for their hometown? That's a dream come true, if you're a kid growing up on the outskirts of L.A., to be the man in your city. But it's definitely been understated."

So he is saying only if they beat the warriors he would stay. So he is going to LA. The west just got tougher and if OKC didn't get the chip with Durant, Westbrook, ibaka and Adams. I don't see Westbrook, PG, PPat and Felton doing better.

I think it would be very difficult for the Indiana Pacers to build a Western Conference Finals team around anyone, no matter how much capspace they have. ;)

Their casinos are the WORST! They make you pay for booze at the tables AND they tax your bets!

Okc might be the worst NBA market.

Think of all the small market one pro team team towns

    Utah has mountains and skiing
    Portland has music/art/hipster scene
Memphis has BBQ and Beale street
Orlando has Disney, golf and hot milfs/cougars
San Antonio has riverwalk and it's in Texas
Sacramento has some cultural diversity and it's close to Bay Area and Reno

What the hell does okc offer other than tornados, fracking, and being the home of Sonics?

I realize you said 'one pro team towns', but I'd put Indiana, Cleveland, and Minnesota up there. Also, I don't think a lot of NBA players go skiing. Worst five is def Cleveland, OKC, Utah, Indiana, and Minnesota in some order.
