I have no idea how big this band is in the USA, or if most Americans have ever even heard of them. They just had their last concert (lead signer Gordon Downie was diagnosed with brain cancer) and it is a pretty big deal here in Canada. To me, this is probably the most important and influential band of my childhood. If you have never listened to any Hip songs before, I encourage everyone to check them out.
