yup. generally the only reason teams make trades (this will sound obvious) is to:

1. cut salary
2. increase talent
3. increase potential talent through youth or picks
4. player requested

since Tillman is trying to decrease payroll its unlikely we can make a trade by helping another team cut salary, unless its a smaller move like Chriss, vet mins, and picks. none of our assets (knight, Chriss, vet min contracts, picks) help teams increase talent. our best best to move knight is over the summer as an expiring contract where we can help a team save long term salary.

That's such a terrible haul. Porter's contract is bad, but not that bad.

 

Can’t figure out we are offering Knight, Chriss, Edwards, Clark, House, 38 first round picks, and these teams keep settling with junk from other teams.... like the Twighlight Zone!
