The Highest ERA of All Time

    Lino Urdaneta has an ERA of INFINITY. In his major league debut, he gave up 6 runs without retiring a batter. Meanwhile, the Tigers are losing to the Royals by the score of 25-4 in the 8th inning.

    I wonder if that is a record for highest ERA meaning that he has given up the most runs (6) without retiring a batter.

    I am aware that 0.0 IP with 1 ER is infinity as well but with 6 ER it's much worse.

    he should retire now just so he can have that career era.. he'd prob make money selling a utogrpahed pics with the infinity as the era written on it
