The Obama administration did not do almost anything you described. Try again. When Trump's campaign was investigated it was authorized by Federal judges, not carried out by the administration. The closest you got was the investigation into journalists which was horrible by the Obama administration.

Give it up. Trump basically admitted he was guilty. If he truly releases the unredacted transcript we will see. If he's cleared then great. I will super happy that he didn't do it. But it should be fully investigated.

The Obama administration did not do that. The FBI did. Stop lying.

Not to be picky, but no: I don't think public seeing some transcript (possibly sharpied, possibly not) is the necessary thing. The key Congressional committees which have requested the whistleblower report -- to which they are legally entitled, I have to add -- should get access to that report. That's the government functioning more or less properly.

Really? After the current President has shat down the throat of checks and balances and limitations on executive power... you suddenly are concerned about precedent?

The horse was out of the barn some time ago and I’ll remind those that support this Presidency; what is good for the goose is good for the gander. This executive abuse is now the new base level and there will be a Democrat and likely a liberal one that will follow the foot steps of Trump and abuse the hell out of the executive position because he/she now knows she can.

The expansion of the executive authority isn’t going away anytime soon and with demographics being as they are, it could turn really nasty for those right of center.

You have been corrected on this at least a dozen times and you continue to trot it out. At this point you are not ignorant, you are purposely lying.

I agree. There could be more evidence than just the transcript. Yes, the committees should get all of the information. I cut more corners than I should have saying that the transcript was enough by itself.

It’s all smoke and mirrors, I think we will see corruption unfathomable when it’s all said and done and I’m not talking about Trump. Going to be interesting to see how this all plays out. Why would you rush into an impeachment inquiry? You couldn’t wait a day, a week? They’ve been screaming it for 3 yrs.

I have expressed my opinion before, the Mueller Report was actually pretty damning. If the Democrats wanted to impeach Trump, they should have as soon as the Mueller Report was released when they could have controlled the narrative.

Unless Pelosi is aware of really damning information from the whistleblower that hasn’t been released, this isn’t going to go anywhere.

Love or hate Trump, it is very difficult to argue against Trump being one of (if not the most) corrupt Presidents in modern history. He is competing against Andrew Johnson and U.S Grant at this point.

He is far from transparent, that is a lie in itself.

His lies cover up facts all the time, and where are his taxes anyway?

    Transparent my ass.

Lies and whataboutism like memes and cartoons are essential tools of Trumpanzees.

Props to Erin Burnett for responding to lies in real time unlike that hack Chuck Todd.
