We can only wish but barring something truly unusual there will be no way there will be another impeachment between now and the election. There is more of a chance that the 25th Amendment is invoked and that is a very small possibility. Also most likely if impeachment were to happen again the result would still be the same. Even with all the backtracking, denial and mismanagement of this disease there probably won’t be any more Republican Senators who would vote for removal. I would even guess that looking at the rise in poll ratings more Republicans would be afraid to cross Trump.
This is what the House was wasting time on instead of COVID preparedness... really makes their current criticism of Trump ring hollow. I'm very very glad we have Trump managing this crisis. Biden would be asleep at the wheel (senile) and Hillary... well, we saw how she handled Benghazi. Let our people die, actually overruling military aid, then lied her face off about a video.
Speaking of the impeachment, remember how Trump and everyone was too busy to testify? If it wasn’t COVID prevention, what was it? Golf? It definitely wasn’t COVID as the tapes will show. Also Trump was impeached on December 10 and acquitted after a few days of Senate trials without any witnesses. COVID did not hit the US until Jan 20. This was not even a thing in December during the House impeachment. I have even read that Trump had already been briefed by Jan 20 on risk of spread in the US but decided vaping bans were a bigger issue for his re election. What were they so busy with? Campaign rallies?
