In a Federal District Court in Manhattan, the Democratic National Committee is suing the Russian government, the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks, alleging that the three entities conspired to help President Trump win the 2016 election. The suit comes months after special counsel Robert Mueller indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian groups in his investigation on charges related to interference in the election.

The case asserts that the Russian hacking campaign — combined with Trump associates’ contacts with Russia and the campaign’s public cheerleading of the hacks — amounted to an illegal conspiracy to interfere in the election that caused serious damage to the Democratic Party.

The suit does not name Trump as a defendant. Instead, it targets various Trump aides who met with people believed to be affiliated with Russia during the campaign, including the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., his son-in-law Jared Kushner, his campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Manafort’s deputy, Rick Gates.

Bobby cares about his government wasting money. Too funny. See you in the golf thread, brah. Or the reckless tax cut thread. Or...

This suit is dumb though. Bad play, and FOX is already rejoicing. May really help degrade the issue and helps GOP for midterms.

So after Mueller finds nothing, then you sue. Perfect. Its almost like they know nothing will come of this and they just want to keep Russia in the news until the election.

    what?

I have consistently been against government waste. I'm against it when it's the party of fiscal irresponsibility and I'm against it when it's the party of ridiculous fiscal irresponsibility.

I didn't see you caring when it was your boy Obama being fiscally irresponsible....I just saw excuses for it.

for jack ****. Nothing to do with collusion. How do you not get that indicting people for what you are not investing amounts to trying to save face? especially when its small crap.

I guess you could say Mueller had a great investigation because he's proving the truth. There was no collusion and this was all a farce. That should be your take away from all this Mueller noise. This **** amounts to Geitner not paying his taxes or Clapper lying over and over again to Congress.

I am sorry you have somehow convinced yourself that there is in some way a scope limitation to this investigation.

    Here are Mueller's orders, verbatim:

Every investigation has a scope and limit.

Not disputing that, but in this case, Muellers orders are to investigate anything arising from his look at the election and he is well within that scope.

Unfortunately when you are a career criminal, such as most of the Trump campaign, that crime train travels far.

And what little bullshit Mueller could find had nothing to do with the election. That's called 'trying to save face'. What he found amounts to potatoes. Like i said earlier, its on par with Geitner not paying his taxes and Clapper lying to Congress. I'm actually amazed at just how little Mueller was able to find on anyone around Trump.

nobody has been indicted for kidnapping, campaign finance violations, or the Hatch Act.

And as for as perjury goes. that's pototoes. Affects nobody.

when you say money laundering, why don't you say what you mean. he hid money he had stored overseas. Yes this is small potatoes.

Just to sum up your statement, Mueller investigated everything regarding Trump's team and came away with two guys hiding money overseas and one guy lied to FBI and nothing else. any thing else you want to add?

Again none of this has to do with the election. You are proving my point.

Obama spent in order to save the economy and it worked. Only morons would call that fiscal irresponsibility.

Meanwhile Trump is on his way to ballooning the deficit with his tax cuts and other programs, which won't lead to GDP growth because the tax cuts aren't going to increase economic activity enough.
