Super Bowl XXXVI (2002) - Patriots Super Bowl XXXVIII (2004) - Patriots Super Bowl XXXIX (2005) - Patriots 2004 World Series - Red Sox 2007 World Series - Red Sox 2008 NBA Finals - Celtics 2011 Stanley Cup Finals - Bruins 2013 World Series - Red Sox Super Bowl XLIX (2015) - Patriots If you count the Championship game/series appearances, then it goes to 13. Super Bowl XLII (2008) 2010 NBA Finals Super Bowl XLVI (2012) 2013 Stanley Cup Final You could also include their MLS team which hasn't won a title but has had 5 MLS Finals appearances since 2001. 2002 MLS Cup Final 2005 MLS Cup Final 2006 MLS Cup Final 2007 MLS Cup Final 2014 MLS Cup Final I don't think we'll ever see a city go on a run like the kind of run Boston has been on since 2001. Just crazy.
Meh Only two real sports in there - Basketball and football, the real football not the fake tough guy sport eggball with limited skill required and limited tactics where grown men grab each other. SO in reality Boston have: 2008 NBA Finals - Celtics Very mediocre to have 1 title over 10 years in what is known to be a big sports city.
congratulations to Boston. one of the best SuperBowl last night with a bonus fight at the end of the game.
I remember those times. 2006 <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/yJh8ckKNLss" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Just skip to the 2nd extra time. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/rxy-6F9PTD0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> 2007 <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/AFiBxy7d9PE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QvFL6I7mmgE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
What coach cut you? or How many times were you last pick? You're doing the old republican, I'm not gay thing and end up in the bathroom stall with another guy thing. Why the hate with football? You come to every football post to let people know you hate football.
LOLs @ the Buffalo Bills of the MLS. LOL @ you're doing what all fatsos who can't chase a ball and can't think with their head say about "American Football." Don't be like them, man.
Dude I might be wrong but I think he is hating on AMERICAN (GRIDIRON) FOOTBALL and not Football/Futbol. I think "leroy" understood his post but like I said man, I might be wrong. Othewise he would have mentioned the Patriots SB wins. Anyway as a Bahstahn sports hater I thought his post was pretty funny except for the fact that all are sports and there's no "REALER"and tougher sport than Ice-Hockey imo.
Forgot to add EFF OFF you Boston fans. Stupid city, stupid state, stupid sports teams always winning the stupid championships. Not cool.
Just remember, your teams are never as bad as Cleveland's. Spoiler I'd just like to kindly say with the utmost respect... **** Massachusetts, **** their sports teams & **** their sports fans.
I liked Michael Che's line on SNL this week, "As far as the Superbowl, I'll be rooting for the blackest city in America against the most racist place I've ever been to."
The definition of sports to that (and every other) 15 year old is basically teams trying to band together to stop Tom Brady and LeBron James from lifting the championship trophy every year. It's unreal how dominant the two of them have been in this decade.
