GGG's shenanigans these past few weeks make me think he's concerned, given his age, of taking that big Sergio Martinez plunge in ability and health.
Linares v Lomenchenko-- What I heard people say about the fight was that Linares is championship matrerial but Lomenchko is so far above any other fighter that he'll make Linares like normal. Linares knocked down Lomencko with a straight right. Lomenchko ended the fight with a knockout and now I believe what everyone was saying Jack v Stevenson-- Close fight Stevenson lost 5 of the last 6 round I think. Jack has to start quicker in a title fight, but I think he deserve to win that night.
Crawford vs Spence is better imo. I like pac and it would be interesting to see him fight Crawford or Spence but he’d in all likelihood get stopped by either guy. In his prime sure I think he prob KOs Crawford who’s not a big WW and out points Spence who is going to grow into a JM, that kids big. But those two guys are young and in their primes they would dust manny. Manny should fight the winner of Danny G vs Porter. He can beat those guys but he’s not beating Crawford and Spence those guys are on another level in the WW division.
Some kind of stupid protest. Dude's boxing license needs to be taken away permanently. When you pull something like this, you need to be damn sure about the repercussions. This Harper guy is not the sharpest tool, he walked out because he said the promoters were disrespecting him and he has no fight contract...smh!
Last's night's fight between Jose Ramirez vs Antonio Orozco was a better fight than this one will probably be. It was a great fight. Ramirez if he can get some defense into his game he will be a superstar. I knew it would be. GGG vs Canelo is going to be a snoozefest. All of De La Hoya's fights are overhyped snoozefest. Neither GGG or Canelo are hungry. They are going to go 12 rounds of dancing. They should be on dancing with the stars after tonight.
