The rockets are a disaster and there is no cure in sight because of CP3's contract. I grew up loving the luv ya blue Oilers and haven't had a team since they left Houston. I've moved away from Houston in 91 so I didn't automatically like the Texans. I'm glad Deshaun Watson has made me a Texans fan. I'm really rooting for him because he's a leader and is still very likable. Hopkins is crazy good also.

I became an Oiler fan as a child. It has been a long bumpy road with many disappointments and very few highlights. The Luv Ya Blue era was glorious. Moon was a treat to watch. The Texans have largely been Team Disappointment. This season has been the most gratifying in the Texan era...thus far.
Thank God for the Texans. Until they lose. Thank God for the Astros. Until Realmuto gets traded to the Padres. Thank God for the Rockets.
A lot of people that were cheering for the astros like they stood with them during the 100 year loss years were the same ones making such statements and belittling anything. All it takes is one magical season where it all comes together to erase the Renfro game, the 'come backs' by Reich and Montana, the rosencopter and the letterman jackets.
