Hopefully they don't just get to 6 wins and stop like they did last year. Texas State under Fran has the habit of taking leads and then going into a shell way too early, allowing the other team back in the game, often losing in the process because they abandoned all momentum. They're one of these teams that will play (up or down) to the level of their competition. I was watching the Baylor/TCU game on Saturday and they flashed a graphic up on the screen of the most improved offenses from last year to this year. TCU was #1 at like 172.4 ypg more and Texas State was #2 at 172.3

Plan on a UTSA game this season. We grew up with a guy who helped start the program and ran into him a couple weekends ago. He told us to give him a call if we ever want to go to a game, so I'm thinking KSU.
Yup. Signed a long-term lease there as well. Apparently they are doing quite a bit of renovations to it.
I'll get the Alamo Whites crew to go too, they caught a couple of games last year. Making my monthly SA trip next week to catch the Panic show at the Majestic Metro on July 2.
Man, I haven't been back on campus since I graduated in 2008. I'm thinking that'll change this year. Probably won't even recognize the place.
I'm going to wimberly in a few weeks to zip line. I'm definitely staying in SM Friday night to grab a beer at Taxis. The square has changed a bit, some new bars. And the new buildings on campus look pretty cool. Also you need to see the new stadium.
I have no idea what Taxis is. It's been that long I guess. I remember Dillinger's, Nephews, Gordo's, Taproom, Hip-Hop Night at Lucy's (I remember being there when someone got stabbed by a Townie). There's a few others that I can picture in my head but can't remember the name. LOTS of good memories of the old square.
Taxis is a Piano Bar located under Vodka Street? Nephews is still there, but its super ghetto. Taproom is still there. Theres a dubstep bar now, I think it changes to something new every few years.
Ah, I remember. It's below street level right? I've been there a few times. Don't know if it was called Taxis back then or not. And Nephews was FAR from "ghetto" back around 07-08. Things really do change.
