Seriously, this one doesn't even sting anymore. I had totally forgotten about it, since it was such a meaningless game and so much has happened since then.

So if you're trying to rub Texans fans noses in it, you're gonna have to come up with something a little more relevant. This doesn't even register anymore.

This is pretty much like Texans fans saying to cowboy fans "19-10!!!"

LOL, I'll bet he doesn't even make the final 53.

Seriously, there is so much to criticize this team for. Cutting a backup RB who is late to meetings, can't block, can't hold on to the ball and coming off an achilles isn't one of them.

Maybe, but this organization doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt anymore.

Foreman cut for refusing to run up the middle on every 1st down and 3rd and long.

Sums up Vince Dumb's career perfectly. His greatest moment comes in a meaningless December game against a 6-10 team for a .500 team that missed the playoffs. Thanks for reminding us what a pathetic joke he was in the NFL. A spectacular bust of epic proportions. Hell, the argument could be made that David F'ing Carr had a better career than VY6.

Plus, the focus of my complaint (at least) isn't cutting Foreman (though I bought into team spin of how great he will be), its the lack of preparation by the team in advance of making such a move. Remember, he was touted as the RB1 heir apparent. And now that he is cut for suddenly having a poor work ethic, the RB1 heir apparent comes from undrafted free agents or veteran scraps.

You would think they would have known if he had a poor work ethic after 2 years and would have prepared for it.

Correct. You'd also think they would have prepared for concerns that a RB recovering from an Achilles industry might not be the best RB2 (future RB1) candidate and would have invested a draft pick or acquired a vet during off season.

If dude was cut for a poor work ethic then that goes back to scouting, combine, draft analysis, etc... Whichever scout missed this poor work ethic should be fired along with the scouting leadership who approved these types of finds.

I go back to Foster and how Kubes used the practice squad to mature him but that's easy to do with an undrafted FA instead of a 3rd rd pick. Point is, should have never been graded a 3rd rd or better with that poor work ethic. Mistakes are made sure but it's best to avoid them especially when there is so much undrafted talent out there especially at RB. Broncos found that guy Lindsay undrafted, he had a huge season.

This type of move, along with that LSU bust, Sam Montgomery, proves to me that year after year we must have one of the worst scouting departments in the league. It should be rebuilt from the ground up.

The Texans are never prepared for anything.

It took them a number of years to address their QB situation.

It took them a number of years to find a #2 receiver.

They still haven't really addressed their offensive line problem.

They still haven't addressed their OC issues.

Hell, they haven't even addressed their lack of a GM.

The organization just kind of floats by...... saving money off the cap every season... and using the media to sell hope while players like Andre Johnson, JJ Watt and DeAndre Hopkins waste effort on a franchise that really isn't driven to do anything but make money.

It’s just my opinion. But I think it is a top 10 moment in the Texans proud history of football.

Exactly, it's the overall lack of preparedness before making the cut that is bothersome.

Always the cheapest, easiest, lamest move by this inept organization.
