Yeah. The Syria bombing may bring Trump some short term goodwill. However if Mueller has something, no amount of goodwill from Syria is going to cover that up. So the idea that the bombing is directly related to Daniels is a real stretch.
Trump has already given Mueller ample to investigate. The amount of corrupt and criminal scumbags that President Trump has surrounded himself with is staggering.

Not many Americans gave ashit about syrians to the point where even welcoming 10,000 highly screened and vetted refugees of our own doing through asylum was a no-no. Ivanka's rancid farts have more coverage here as potential wmds than old news red and orange lines drawn against chemical weapons. The cynicism in me can't imagine many cheers for democracy building outside of Astroturfed scoreboards. Oh yes, there will always be psychos looking for people to be killed as patriotic entertainment and necessary sacrifices for their one and true God, but we now have uncontrolled biweekly mass shootings to attract mindshare for those kinds of people.
