    I was reading Vernon Maxwell news like how he's happy we are going to face Utah and how his son got into Gonzaga and how he's back in Clutch City meeting with fans

    then this crap tweet showed up and I couldn't unsee it

    Smith just confirms what most of us know already. He's a loud mouthed blowhard who thinks he knows more basketball than he does. The other guy (honestly, it was hard to understand what he said, Smith was bellowing so loud) was right. For a few seasons, Vernon did a better job guarding Jordan than anyone else I saw. Max was up and down all the time, and frequently maddening for a Rockets fan, thus the nickname, but he was always up when we played Chicago. He relished the challenge of guarding Jordan and had the quickness and size to do it. Somehow, he pulled up from within the fire that made the difference between him and others attempting to do the same thing and failing. It didn't hurt that Hakeem was lurking in the post, of course. In my opinion.

    Nobody ever talks about the other side, who on earth do they have to stop Hakeem? they DOUBLE or TRIPLE team him.

    We don't do that to Jordan because Jordan was an easy guard than a 7 foot monster who destroyed everything in its path.

    Tinman would never watch these shows, he just has a spider sense that can detect any time someone disrespects the 90s rockets. It's like a "disturbance in the force" of 99er purity.

    Bill Wennington once mentioned how the Bulls gave him a tape on every opponent. Short clips. But for Hakeem, and only Hakeem, the centers would get stacks of videos. These non-99ers don't even know what videos are.

    here's the thing that pisses me , some kid who watches NBA stuff on youtube obviously not old enough to be remember and watch the 90s Rockets and 90s Bulls play, is talking smack about the Rockets championships because the media's grudge against the 90s team.

    It's like when Charleston Heston saw that the humans turned stupid and the Apes took over


    Damn all of them to hell.
