That journeyman came off the streets two years ago to beat the 1st place Bengals at home, jump starting a 3-5 Texans team to a 6-3 finish.

Not expecting anything like that but Savage has 2 TDs and 7 turnovers in 3 starts this season. Starting him is disappointing regardless of whose behind him IMO.

Matt Schwaub with the club foot is better than Savage.

Honestly yes Savage is a fumble machine out there him playing is a waist of time and he is not an NFL QB or backup QB he shouldn't even be on this roster.

So sure we will probably suck either way but savage gives us no shot

And not to mention Savage is going to get one of our WRs killed out there. we have no reason to lose any games since we don't have draft picks and so we really need to use this time to develop our young skill players as much as possible and Savage can't even get them the ball without throwing it right over the middle into oncoming defenders.

we went from "That's my quarterback!" in Watson to "That's my quarterback???" in Savage.
sad times. but we can get through these seven games as fans. The light at the end of the tunnel is watson's sexy smile not an incoming train.

DERP...derp...shut and grow the f up. He just isnt good enough to sign and warrant additional distraction. Why is that not a good enough reason for you racebaiters? This POS is so entitled that he believes he can sue the NFL and have an NFL team cave to him and sign him? In what planet do you live that you think things like that fly? Here is a fellow competitor stating the obvious.

Tom Savage has more fumbles lost than TD passes in his NFL career.

I just do not understand what it was about Savage that convinced the boobs running this organization that he was NFL material. This is so like Houston pro football - being absolutely clueless about what it takes to put a winning team on the field. Now I realize that BoB will get a pass for this season due to the inuries and all that but jeez! the offense should not be this inept without our rookie QB - especially when Savage has been in their system for 4 years. The fact that he's so totally in over his head indicates that they need to clean house and get rid of anyone and everyone who is with talent evaluation and development because they need eye exams.

I missed the first two preseason games, but I saw that goose egg the team put up against the Saints in week 3, the one game that was supposed to mimic game reps. Nothing should be surmised from preseason if that's the kind of game BOB decides to bring out.

    Huh? Oh, nevermind...

This is Savage's contract year right? I don't see any reason why ANY team would offer him veteran minimum for a backup spot. He's that bad. He's Alex Brink, camp arm only level.
