    Roast of Bloomberg: Part II?

....or will this be Bernie’s turn to be the piñata?

Also, congratulations to Tom Steyer for buying his way onto the stage. [insert clapping emojie]

I think one of them needs to take one for the team and play Trump in this debate so Bernie is tested in how Trump will attack him. Someone like Pete needs to just come out and be as belligerent as possible. Call Bernie a communist, say that Russia really wants Bernie, say that Bernie is conspiring with Russia to rig the election, say that Bernie hates the military, throw in dog whistle antisemitism.

You name it... just throw all the Trump BS at Bernie and see how he reacts before we make him the nominee, and have to live with how he's going to counteract the Trump propaganda machine.

I just want to see this god damn field narrowed down to 2 or 3 candidates.

I have the mute button ready for Klobuchar, Buttigieg, Steyer...

This is going to be another spicy debate. The desperation level was high last time, but tonight, spice levels might be off the Scovile scale!

20 million people watched the last debate, I wonder if this one is as watched.

I just want Bloomberg to bring this up for the entertainment value...

    https://www.politico.com/news/2020/02/25/bloomberg-adviser-bernie-sanders-newspaper-articles-117355

A top adviser to Mike Bloomberg unleashed a new — and salacious — line of attack against presidential primary frontrunner Sen. Bernie Sanders on Tuesday, part of an increasingly aggressive effort to slow the Vermont independent’s rise to the top of the field.

“Bernie has all of this loopy stuff in his background, saying things like women get cancer from having too many orgasms or toddlers should run around naked and touch each other’s genitals to insulate themselves from p*rn,” Bloomberg senior adviser Tim O’Brien said on CNN’s “New Day,”

I think Bloomberg, in particular, is going to go hard at Bernie with a kitchen sink strategy. But I suspect this line of argument from Pete is going to be the one that resonates the most - asking why we want to spend time explaining away Bernie's string of crazy statements. This is similar to the frustrations so many GOPers (or now ex-GOPers) had dealing with Trump.

"In our one shot to defeat Donald Trump, we should think carefully about the consequences of nominating Sen. Sanders. I don't want, as a Democrat, I don't want to be explaining why our nominee is encouraging people to look on the bright side of the Castro regime."

"Why are we spotlighting the literacy programs of a brutal dictator?"

I don't know. The last debate was a hit. Plus everyone will be extra thirsty today. I think people will tune in again today

I'm anxious to see what Steyer does with his 45 seconds in the debate.

This will be the last debate for 3-4 of the candidates before they drop out. I expect haymakers

Bernie needs to take the stage in shoulder pads and a helmet. He will take a lot of hits.

My hope is that every last one of them throw everything possible and the kitchen sink at Bernie .... Particularly on spending.

Something's gotta stick there .... Bernie is the worst case scenario. The absolute nuclear option

Weak moderates tripping over each other trying to call themselves Progressive.

Bernie has already won the battle by pushing the conversation to the left.

Warren would have ran away with the nomination if she didn't listen to her advisers. smh.

Warren is all in on Bloomberg everyone ignoring Bernie again.

Bloomberg had a plan until... he got punched in the mouth by Elizabeth "Tyson" Warren.

Seems like the game plan is to give Bernie another heart attack.
