I can't remember which recent article, but one writer said it well: One of the NFL's biggest enemies is the game itself. On another topic: I still say the NFL must pad the crown of the helmet if they are serious about safety. Maybe it would only take one inch to remove most of the damaging impact.

Sucks for Wentz and the Eagles. Foles isn't the worst backup so I think they'll be ok...but they've lost their status as the NFC favorite. The NFC is way more wide open than the AFC. Eagles, Vikings, Seahawks, Rams, Falcons, Panthers, Saints, and even the Packers with Rodgers coming back are all viable candidates. AFC is pretty much just the Steelers and Patriots.
